2026 Fall Tournament Registration

Robinson's Martial Arts is happy to invite you to our inaugural tournament! We expect a day full of community, achievement, and friendly competition.

Please fill out one registration per competitor. Registration fees are to be collected by your studios head instructor after you register.

The tournament will be held October 17th, at the Tunkhannock Intermediate Middle School from 9 am to 5 pm. Address: 200 Franklin Avenue, Tunkhannock, PA 18657

Fees per competitor

Youth/Adult/Senior: $75.00

Tiny Tiger/Little Dragon: $65.00

The registration fee includes access to all rank appropriate divisions and an event t-shirt!

Competitor Fees are non-refundable.

Early Tentative Schedule:

Black Belt Competition begins at 9 am.

Opening Cerimonies will begin after Black Belt Competition concludes.

Gup Students should be present by 10 am.

Tournament Rules

Weapons: 4th Gup and Higher

4th Gup - Cho Dan: Staff

E - Sam Dan: Dan Gum or Jang Gum

No live blades will be permitted (all bladed weapons must not be sharp)

All bladed weapons must be secured at all times.

Recommended Open Hand Hyung

These are only the recommended hyung. If your school has another rank appropriate traditional form for your rank, you are welcome to use it.

10th - 9th Gup: Ki Cho Hyung Il Bu or Ki Cho Hyung E Bu

SPARRING RULES

NO JEWELRY OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED TO BE WORN BY COMPETITORS

All competitors must wear sparring gear. There are no exceptions.

Mandatory gear:

Head gear

Hand gear

Foot gear

Mouth Guard

Males must wear a Groin cup.

Optional Equipment:

Shin Guards

Chest protectors for women

ADDITIONAL RULES:

No contact to the face. No punching toward the face.

Light touch to the body is allowed.

No throwing or Sweeping.

No Grabbing/ Holding a Competitors leg.

No pushing techniques.

No striking an opponent that has fallen.

No excessive contact.

No elbows/ knees/ gouging or head butting.

Please check the box below if you understand that you will pay the registration fee of $75 for a youth/adult/senior competitor or $65 for a tiny tiger/little dragon competitor to your dojang instructor.

WAIVER

I, the undersigned, for myself or on behalf of my minor child , any heirs, executors and administrators thereof, recognizing there is a risk of injury, do hereby waive, release and forever discharge any and all rights and claims for damages which I may have or which may accrue against Robinson’s Martial Arts Institute and the Tunkhannock Area School District, its affiliates, officers, representatives, successors, officers of the Championship, my own studio, my own instructor, and their workers and/or successors or assigns and against any competitors for any and all injuries, losses, or damages, including, but not limited to personal injuries, property damage, or death, which may be sustained by me. I will obey all required rules and regulations and also assume full responsibility and liability for any of my actions during and in connection with this Championship. If I, or any of my guests, violate any rules, I understand we will be ejected from the event, without a refund. I agree that my performance or attendance at the Championship, or both, may be filmed or otherwise recorded or telecast live, and I consent to the use by Robinson’s Martial Arts Institute, its assignee's and licensees including any public news media, of my name, likeness, voice, poses, pictures and biographical form or language with or without other materials, throughout the world without limitation, for media purposes by any devices now known or hereafter devised, and I waive any compensation whatsoever in connection with the foregoing and waive all rights to any intellectual property rights which may arise therefrom. I further understand and agree that all fees paid hereunder are NONREFUNDABLE.
