U16 26/27 BBI Rep Teams Trial Registration Form
Calling all boys and girls born in 2012 and 2013!

Bundaberg Basketball invites all eligible players interested in being part of our Representative Program to attend the upcoming U16 trials.

Our Representative Program provides players with the opportunity to further develop their skills, compete at a higher level and proudly represent Bundaberg Basketball at CQJBC carnivals and Basketball Queensland State Championships.

Players interested in being considered for a representative team are asked to complete this form prior to attending trials.

Further information regarding the Representative Program and trial process has been provided in the initial trial email. Following trials and team announcements, successful players and families will receive further information regarding team expectations, training commitments, fees and the representative season.

COMPULSORY PARENT & PLAYER EXPECTATIONS MEETING

A compulsory Parent & Player Expectations Meeting will be held prior to Trial 1 for both the U16 Girls and U16 Boys.

All parents and players are required to attend. Trial 1 will commence immediately following the meeting.

Representative Trial & Selection Acknowledgement
By registering my child to participate in Bundaberg Basketball Representative Trials, I acknowledge and understand that:

• Representative team selections are made by the appointed Head Coach, with an independent selection panel of experienced basketball coaches also in attendance throughout the trial process.

• Selection is based on a range of factors and is not determined by basketball ability alone. Coaches may consider skill level, athletic ability, basketball knowledge, attitude, effort, coachability, teamwork and how a player contributes to the overall team environment.

• Players and families are expected to demonstrate respectful and appropriate behaviour throughout the trial and representative process and comply with the Basketball Queensland Code of Conduct.

I understand that being invited to trial does not guarantee selection in a Bundaberg Basketball Representative Team.

• I understand that final team selections are the responsibility of the appointed Head Coach and selection panel and agree to respect the outcome of the selection process.

Permanent Training Times & Commitment
The permanent training days and times for each team have been provided prior to trials to allow families to consider whether these commitments are suitable before proceeding with the representative selection process.

Players selected in a Bundaberg Basketball Representative Team are expected to attend all scheduled team training sessions.

If the advertised permanent training times present an ongoing conflict or concern for your family, this must be discussed directly with the appointed Head Coach. Families should raise any known conflicts as early as possible so the coach is aware prior to team selection.

By continuing with this trial registration, I acknowledge that I have reviewed the advertised permanent training times and understand the training commitment expected if my child is selected.
