    The Workshop and Clinic Schedules are set out below. All breeds and mixes are welcome. Dogs must be at least four months old, healthy, vaccinated, and comfortable around people and other dogs.

    Please bring: favorite treats and toy, six-foot leash, flat collar or harness, water and bowl, and a mat. Crates are welcome for crate-trained dogs.

    Please note: No choke, prong or e-collars, or retractable leashes.

                  S 1. Introduction to Agility Equipment. Saturday, 26 September 2026, 7:00am-9:30am

                  This is for first time handlers or newbie dogs. Owners will learn to teach their dog start line skills, obstacle foundations, and simple sequences. With their dogs they will also be have a chance to join a mini-agility challenge.

                  S 2. Canine Manners for Beginners. Saturday, 26 September 2026, 10:00am-12:30am

                  Participants will be introduced to foundation exercises for a well mannered canine team.

                  S 3. Agility Equipment Clinic. Saturday, 26 September 2026, 4:00pm-6:30pm

                  This is for owners and dog who want to improve their agility equipment performance. The clinic will include contacts, weaves, standard height jumps, and the seesaw.

                  S 5. Agility Handling Clinic. Sunday, 27 September 2026, 7:00am-9:30am

                  This is for owners and dogs who want to work on their agility handling skills. This clinic will cover side changes, common agility sequences, and reading and running course lines.

                  S 6. Agility Fun Match. Sunday, 27 September 2026, 10:00am-12:30pm

                  Standard Novice Course

                  Jumpers Novice Course

                  This is for owners and dogs who want to run full courses. They need to have at least a recall, a stay, and knowledge of how to take the obstacles. Jump height regulations and standard course times will apply. Participating dogs must be at least 18 months old.

                  S 7. Rally Obedience Clinic. Monday, 28 September 2026, 7:00am-9:30am

                  Rally Obedience is a dog sport where dog and handler navigate a course of signs, performing obedience exercises that test teamwork, communication, and precision. The clinic is for owners and dogs who have the foundations of a heel and want to improve it, work on pace changes, turns and spirals, and sequences.

                  S 8. Obedience and Rally Obedience Tests. Monday, 28 September 2026, 10:00am-12:30pm

                  This is for participants who would like to test themselves and their dogs in a fun, informal setting. Teams can put their training to the test on an obedience or Rally-O course, see how their skills hold up outside the classroom, and find out what they might like to work on next.

                • AGREEMENTS, REPRESENTATIONS, AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

                  By attaching my signature below, I declare that I understand these Workshops and Clinics will have other dogs and people present. I accept that attending these events and participating in any of the Workshops and Clinics, involves certain risks, including the risk of injury, illness, or damage to myself, my dog, others or their dogs, or property (whether mine or that of others). I agree to be in full control of my dog at all times, whether my dog and I are running an exercise or waiting for our turn to do so. I assume full moral and financial responsibility for my dog's, needs, safety, and behavior, and will ensure it is under control at all times. I will actively ensure my dog causes no harm to anyone, another dog, or propery, at the Workshops and Clinics.

                  I further agree to follow all event guidelines, including:

                  (1) Picking up my dog's waste, and disposing of it properly.

                  (2) Managing my dog and ensuring my dog remains safe at all times, and is not overheating, exhausted, stressed, or in pain.

                  (3) Being respectful of everyone present at the event, whether while or after the event or on social media, regardless of station, function, or duties.

                  (4) Refraining from filming or photographing other participants or their dogs, the instructors, or the assisting staff and companions. Any photographs or videos I take or cause to be taken at the Workshops and Clinics, or any posts or comments I make on social media regarding the Workshops and Clinics, will mainly be of myself and my own dog, and will always be respectful of others. 

                  Further,

                  (1) I understand and accept that agility is a high impact dog sport, and that any dog sport or activity with dogs could, even in the normal course of practice, result in injuries to myself or my dog including but not limited to sprains, painful joints, sore muscles, worn toe pads, and pulled nails; and sometimes something more serious. Any such result to myself or my dog will be my own responsibility, and completely at my cost.

                  (2) I represent that my dog is:

                  (a) healthy and able, without any issues that may be negatively affected by participating in the Workshops and Clinics, and a high impact sport like agility;

                  (b) sociable with humans and other dogs;

                  (c) comfortable learning and engaging in a new activity, in a new environment, with strange people and other dogs.

                  I release and hold harmless The Pfleider School, the instructors, Elsie Louise Pfleider, Jojo Isorena, Vicky Ortega, and their staff and companions, from any claims or liabilities arising from my participation in the Workshops and Clinics, including any incidents caused by my dog, other dogs, or other people at the Workshops and Clinics, whether or not I, my dog, or my property are injured, startled, frightened, or scared. 

                  I also consent to photographs and videos of myself and my dog being taken by the organizers during the Workshops and Clinics, and the respectful use of such in their social media posts.
