TE TOI AHUREA 2026
HAANGII TENDER APPLICATION FORM
Te Kaahui o Rauru invites tenders for haangii catering services for Te Toi Ahurea 2026.
Requirements are as follows:
- All activities associated with the preparation, cooking location and the service of haangii meals i.e. shopping, packing food into individual packages, cooking (in ground or by cooker), delivery and distribution of hot haangii at Te Kura Kaupapa Maaori o Tupoho by 2:30pm on Sunday 1st November 2026.
- Provisions of all equipment necessary to deliver as above
- Numbers are estimated at 250-400 individual adult haangii and up to 150 individual child haangii meals; however, Te Kaahui o Rauru will confirm exact numbers required by Friday 9th October 2026.
- Adult meals must include (but are not limited to): x3 meat, x3 veg, stuffing
- Child meals must include (but are not limited to): x1 meat, x2 veg, stuffing
All those interested in submitting a Tender for Haangii at Te Toi Ahurea will be required to complete the online form and must include all costs associated with the service provided (including delivery costs if any).
All tenders must be submitted via the online form no later than 5pm on Sunday 6th September 2026.
Tenders will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. The completion of the online tender form does not automatically award the contract. The tender that is the lowest cost does not automatically receive the contract. Te Kaahui o Rauru reserves the right to award the contract in confidence without further explanation necessary. The successful tender will be required to agree to and adhere to Te Kaahui o Rauru’s service agreement which makes provision for food health and safety on-site.
