ART MART 2026 Singer Songwriter Showcase Application

Thank you for your interest in performing at Batesville Main Street's Art Mart on the Square on Saturday, October 3, 2026!

We're looking for talented singer-songwriters who are passionate about sharing their original music and creative expression with our community. Whether you perform as a solo artist, duo, or trio, we invite you to showcase your songwriting talent in the heart of historic downtown Batesville.

Performances will take place throughout the day from 9:00 AM until 2:45 PM, with artists selecting 15-, 20-, or 30-minute performance slots. Each performer will be given a few additional minutes before their scheduled set to get set up, complete a quick sound check, and prepare to perform.

This is not a contest and there is no compensation for participating. Instead, this showcase is designed to celebrate original music, provide artists with an opportunity to connect with new audiences, and highlight songwriting as another important form of art within our Art Mart event.

All submissions will be reviewed by Batesville Main Street, and selected performers will be contacted with additional event details, including their assigned performance time. Because space is limited, submission of an application does not guarantee participation.

All genres are welcome; however, all performances must be family-friendly and may not contain foul, explicit, or suggestive language.

We will have a simple sound system in which you can plug into. We have a microphone for vocals, speakers, but no monitors. If your instrument does not plug in, but needs to have amplification, please bring an extra microphone. Do you have any other requirements? If so, please list. We may call you to discuss.

Preferred performance length
