    Thanks for taking the time to apply for a stall at WOMAD Aotearoa . The Global Village is at the heart of the festival and is made up of stall holders selling a vast variety of products and services. We aim to provide festival goers with a wide range of choices, which are of impeccable quality, and add to the fun and vibrant atmosphere that is WOMAD Aotearoa.

    All applications are reviewed and considered, however, only a limited number of stalls are available.  

    Please take your time with the application and ensure you attach all necessary documents

    • Late applications will NOT be accepted
    • Incomplete applications will NOT be considered

    APPLICATION TIMELINE
    27 September - Applications close
    30 October - Applicants accepted/declined notification

    SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS
    13 November - Stall holder contracts sent
    27 November - Signed contracts to be returned & invoiced for 50% stall deposit 
    15 December - Invoice payment required
    26 January - Remainder of stall fee payable & confirm number of passes required - no changes will be accepted after this point, and any further passes required will have to be purchased via our ticket outlet.
    22 April - Bond payments refunded

    Your stall fee includes: 

    - Allocated retail stall space (tent incl roof, walls and frame supplied by WOMAD Aotearoa)
    - Power supplied (if you require additional 32 amps or three phase,extra $100+gst
    - 3 site passes (2x2m or 3x3m) OR 5 site passes (3x6m) *variable dependent on stall size
    - Public liability insurance
    - Refundable bond

    Standard craft/merchandise
    3m x 3m site (9 m2) approximately
    includes three site passes 

  • Option 2:

    Standard craft/merchandise
    6m x 3m site (18 m2)
    includes five site passes 

  • Option 3:

    Services stall (hair, makeup, nails, etc.) Services only, not products sold.
    3m x 3m site (9 m2)
    includes three site passes

    NB: This option is  only available to approved traders who fit the criteria. ONLY 4 STALLS AVAILABLE

  • Option 4:

    Boutique stall
    2m x 2m site (4 m2)
    includes three site passes

    This option is only available to approved traders who fit the criteria. ONLY 8 Stalls AVAILABLE

  • Option 5:

    Sustainable craft/merchandise
    3m x 3m site (9 m2)
    includes three site passes 

    This option is only available to approved sustainable traders.

  • Option 6:

    Gate collection only, no passes included. This option is only available to registered charities.

  • Option 7:

    Village of Wellness stall
    3m x 3m (9 m2)
    includes three site passes

  • If you are accepted for a stall at WOMAD Aotearoa 2027, how many Staff Passes would you require?

  • The address you provide us with above will be the address we send your bond refund cheque to, so please update us if your circumstances change.

  • Please provide links to any social media pages/website/Instagram/Facebook/TikTok for your business. This information may be used for promotional purposes in the lead up to the festival.

  • ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

    You are allocated 5 amps ONLY per site of your stall fee. All equipment must hold a current test tag and comply with AS/NZ 3760-2001 and be tagged accordingly. Any trader who has not tagged their items will be refused the right to trade and face a fine of $100 per untagged item. The right to begin trading will only resume once the items have been taken offsite and tagged.

    ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT MUST BE TAGGED AND TESTED. Any trader failing to do so will be refused the right to trade.

  • Note: The electricians on site at WOMAD are there to sort power supplies and check electrical safety, not to make your appliances fit what is provided. If you have any doubts, please ask before arrival on site.
