Calling all artists working in any medium to submit art for consideration for the 'night shades' dark art exhibition this October at The SEABA Center!
Seeking art that is dark in nature, dark in tones or shades of color, dark in concepts, or commenting on dark topics politically and socially.
The work does not need to be Halloween themed to fit in the exhibition, though that is welcome too! We're looking for nuance and the call is open to your interpretations.
Night scenes are welcome, flowers are welcome, paintings, photography, installations, projections...all mediums!
Submit up to 5 pieces for consideration on this form. This exhibition is juried. You will be notified by September 25th with drop off times to be sent to you in the acceptance email, drop off will fall between September 26 - September 30, 2026.
Pricing: Artists will receive 60% of their set prices, should the work sell during the exhibition, in a payment 30 days after the show closes. All pieces must remain in the gallery for the month of October.
Entry Fee: $20 per artist (not piece) only should work be selected, to assist with installation and reception costs.
Details: Once selected, you will drop off work that is framed or ready to hang or display. SEABA will handle all installation, labels, inclusion in our online shop page, sales, taxes, and shipping as applicable to buyers.
Opening Reception: Free - First Friday, October 2nd from 5-10pm
