I am asking you to participate in this study, titled “Becoming a Mother: A Theoretical Inquiry into Psychoanalytic Representations of Matrescence.”The purpose of this study is to understand how psychoanalytic theory can be extended to understand the unique experience of becoming a mother. This study will help develop new theory in the field of psychoanalysis and give a voice to new mothers.
