• The Great New England Cookie Slam

    Thank you for your interest in competing in The Great New England Cookie Slam on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at the Mosesian Center for the Arts.

    We are seeking New England bakers, bakeries, and cookie businesses ready to showcase their cookies, connect with hundreds of guests, and grow their businesses during the holiday season.

    Selected competitors may enter up to three cookies and will participate as Baker Vendors at the festival.

    Applications will be reviewed through a juried selection process, and all applicants will be notified of their status during the week of November 1, 2026.

    The $30 application fee is non-refundable and will be applied toward the Baker Participation Fee if selected.

  • Rules and Conditions

  • Every individual participating in the Cookie Slam is required to obtain a temporary food permit from the City of Watertown, and within the application select the "coffee & pastry" option. Different residential kitchens, cottage food operators, and commercial kitchens will need to upload a copy of their license from their municipality. The tasting process must follow basic sanitary guidelines: use tongs or paper to handle cookies, and do not use bare hands with ready-to-eat foods.

    • I certify that the information provided is accurate.
    • I understand the $40 application fee is non-refundable and that, if selected, my $40 application fee will be credited toward the required competitor vendor fee.
    • I understand submission does not guarantee acceptance.
    • I understand all selection committee and judging decisions are final.

    If selected:

    • I agree to pay the non-refundable competitor vendor fee of $200.00 by the stated deadline.
    • I agree to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming the Mosesian Center for the Arts as an additional insured.
    • I agree to obtain all required permits required from the City of Watertown and understand that I am responsible for complying with all applicable laws, permits, licenses, and health regulations.
    • I understand that I am responsible for supplying my own booth equipment.
    • I understand that I am responsible for all sales conducted at my booth.
    • I grant the Mosesian Center for the Arts permission to photograph, film, and record me and my business during the event and to use my name, image, likeness, business name, and submitted materials in event-related promotional, marketing, publicity, archival, and social media materials.
    • I understand that harassment, discrimination, intimidation, abusive behavior, or disruptive conduct of any kind will not be tolerated and that violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from the event without refund and affect eligibility for future participation.
