WHO IS ELIGIBLE: Any member of the North American Drama Therapy Association in the STUDENT membership category. Applicant must be starting first year of Masters degree in Fall of 2026- or- an Alternative Training student who signed their AT Contract after May 3, 2026. Please provide screen shot of current membership from the NADTA Memberclicks profile for verification. This can be uploaded/attached with the essay.

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP: Scholarship will cover full conference registration for NADTA Conference in whatever registration category applicant is in. Scholarship does not include funding of travel, lodging, incidentals or food (outside of options provided as part of the registration). If attendees wish to purchase additional president's gala tickets, they will have an option to do so at registration.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION: When award winners are selected, they will be given a code to self register. This code covers the cost of the registration fee. The registration will be paid for them in full by the Drama Therapy Fund ONLY if the code is used. Drama Therapy Fund is not issuing refunds for registrations already paid for. If an attendee registers without using the code the scholarship offer will be rescinded.

REQUIRED REPORT: The Drama Therapy Fund requires that within 60 days of the end of the Conference, all recipients of scholarships send a one to two page essay about what they learned at the Conference and how they will apply it to their drama therapy work.

In your essay address your financial needs, reasons for wanting to attend the conference, and other any special circumstances, such as unemployment, disability, school loan repayment, etc. of which you think the Scholarship Review Committee should be made aware.
