    We require a copy of your child's baptismal certificate to be registered in this sacramental preparation program. If you are unable to locate a copy of your child's Baptismal Certificate, please contact the Parish of Baptism to obtain a copy. Please upload a copy of your child's baptismal certificate below listing your child's name as the filename (e.g. JaneDoe). You will be notified if an original copy will be required for authentification.

  • FAMILY COMMITMENT

  • Our Sacramental Preparation Program at Blessed Trinity is very much a family-focused program. We ask for your commitment to working with the catechists in preparing your child to receive his/her first Sacrament of Reconciliation and first Sacrament of Holy Communion by joining us weekly at one of Sunday Masses (4:30pm on Saturday or on Sundays at 8:00am, 9:30am, 11:15am, or 7:00pm), ensuring your child has completed the necessary program assignments, attending the scheduled retreat days, and whenever possible attend other non-sacramental preparation program parish events to get to know other families within our parish community. If your child is absent for more than 2 sessions during the program and/or you are unable to attend the family retreat, we will meet with you to discuss if perhaps one or both sacraments should be received at a later date.   

  • PROGRAM OFFERING

  • Our introductory meeting is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 9:00am. During this meeting, we will have a chance to introduce ourselves, go through the process we will use to prepare for these sacraments, and review key dates.

    A program offering of $75.00 is requested on this day to cover the costs of materials, retreats, and administration. This offering can be made by cheque payable to Blessed Trinity Parish with your child's name and FHC in the memo line or by cash. We will also provide you with the textbooks and workbooks to be used during the program. If you are not able to make this offering, please contact Tanya at btfamilylife@gmail.com. As always, the inability to pay will not be a hindrance to participating in this program.
