  • Global Artivism Month is a distributed month of creative action taking place between 1 November and 10 December 2026. Across the world, artists, collectives, movements and organisations will make work, hold events, teach, gather and take to the streets, each in their own place and on their own terms, all under one name and shared identity.

Everything you need is in The Starter, our recipe book for the month: what Global Artivism Month is, and every way there is to take part.

This form is how you join. You only fill in the parts that apply to what you want to do, so it should take around 10 minutes.

Before you begin, please read the Terms and Conditions, which set out what we provide, what stays yours to carry, and what is incompatible with the month. If anything is unclear, or if you would rather talk something through before registering, write to info@globalartivism.ca and a person will answer you.

This form should not be the reason you are not part of the month. If it does not work with your access needs, write to info@globalartivism.ca and we will find a way that does: email, a voice note, a call, or someone filling it in alongside you.

  • SECTION 2. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO TAKE PART?

  • Next, tell us how you would like to take part. You can choose more than one.

Host an event or activity. You organise something where you are, at whatever scale you can manage: an exhibition, a march, a screening, a mural, a performance, a conversation. In face to face, online or hybrid format. You decide what it is, and you carry it.

Share my art. You send us work to be part of the month, whether it is new, existing, finished or still in progress, that we can share on our channels.

Witness, follow and amplify. You keep the month visible without producing anything yourself. You share, post and tell people it is happening, using our communications package and resources.

Support the month. You contribute resources rather than time on the ground: funding, equipment, space, skills or connections that make other people's activities possible.

Become a partner. You commit your organisation, network or platform to the month in a sustained way, with a role agreed together rather than defined in advance.

  • BLOCK C. WITNESS, FOLLOW AND AMPLIFY

  • What would you like to receive?
  • We will be sending everything you need to tell people about Global Artivism Month: concept note templates, social media templates, ready-to-adapt copy, the hashtag, and the visual assets.

  • BLOCK D. SUPPORT THE MONTH

  • How would you like to support?
  • We will contact you to schedule a meeting and discuss the support possibilities.

  • BLOCK E. BECOME A PARTNER

  • Co-organizer. You build an activity together with others, sharing the planning, the resources and the credit. This is a hands-on role: you help make the thing happen, not only announce it.

Mobilization partner. You bring your community, network or membership into the month and turn your reach into participation. You are not producing an activity yourself, you are getting people to show up for the ones that exist.

Media partner. You carry the story through your outlet, platform or channel, whether that means reporting on the month, publishing artwork, hosting conversations or lending your audience.

Offer a workshop for the network. You lead a session that builds capacity for other people taking part in the month, rather than for your own audience: a skill-share, a training, a clinic, a lab. We programme it with you and open it to participants across the month.

  • What kind of partnership are you interested in?*
  • Do you already have an activity in mind?
  • How would you reach the people you mobilise?
  • How would you cover the month?
  • SECTION 3. BEFORE YOU SUBMIT
