    Farm dogs are more than companions. They’re there for early mornings, long days, truck rides, field checks, and everything in between.

    As part of SeCan’s 50th anniversary celebrations, By Our Side: The 2027 SeCan Seed Dogs Calendar will celebrate the dogs that are part of farm life across Canada – while supporting mental health in agriculture through The Do More Agriculture Foundation.

    For every eligible calendar submission received, SeCan will donate $50 to The Do More Agriculture Foundation.

    SeCan has also committed to a dollar-for-dollar match of the total proceeds from By Our Side: The 2027 SeCan Seed Dogs Calendar sales.

  • Entry Rules

    • One entry per person, with a maximum of two photos.
    • Multiple dogs may appear in the same photo. Photos should feature animals only; people should not be clearly visible or identifiable.
    • Photos must be taken on a farm or in a setting clearly connected to farm life.
    • Photos must be original and submitted by the photographer or with the photographer’s permission.
    • Entrants must provide permission for SeCan to reproduce and use the images as outlined in the photo permissions.
    • No purchase is required to enter.
    • Submission does not guarantee inclusion in the calendar.

    Upload up to two photos of your farm dog(s). Multiple dogs may appear in the same photo. Photos should feature animals only; people should not be clearly visible or identifiable.

    Photos should:

    • Be taken on a farm or in a setting clearly connected to farm or rural life.
    • Be original photos that you own or have permission from the photographer to submit.
    • Be clear and high-resolution enough to be considered for print.
    • Contain no watermarks, logos, or text added over the image.

    Calendar photos will be selected by SeCan based on:

    • Personality and storytelling
    • Connection to farm or rural life
    • Photo quality and suitability for print

    Entrants whose photos are selected for the calendar will be contacted by SeCan.

    Share one of your submitted farm dog photos on social media, tag SeCan, and include #ByOurSideSeedDogs, and SeCan will donate an additional $25 to The Do More Agriculture Foundation.

    This bonus donation is limited to one additional $25 donation per entrant, regardless of the number of posts or social media platforms used.
