  • Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Ada Community Library. Adult volunteers should:

    *Be at least 18 years of age
    *Complete an application
    *Follow the same work and behavior policies as library employees
    *Meet with the Volunteer Coordinator to set volunteer hours

    Volunteer hours take place when the library is open. Volunteers are trained and supervised by the Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteers do not perform the same tasks as employees. Volunteer duties may include:

    *Assisting with outreach to local food pantries and parks
    *Assembling art projects to distribute at outreach events
    *Helping children do art projects
    *Using translation apps to communicate with non-English speakers

  • I agree and understand that any work that I may perform on behalf of the Ada Community Library will be provided on a voluntary basis and I understand that a volunteer position does not constitute an employee-employer relationship with Ada Community Library.
