Class Details: December 8, 2026 from 2:00-3:30PST / 5:00-6:30 EST
Instructor: Tessa (she/they) is a midwife, herbalist, poet, and care worker. Tessa's work is based on the belief that all people should have access to personalized, comprehensive, holistic, and dignified care for the full spectrum of reproductive and generative experiences. They support clients along this spectrum: from becoming pregnant with at-home IUI, to pregnancy loss and release, to prenatal and postpartum care, out-of-hospital birth, and clinical herbal care focused on reproductive, menstrual, and hormonal concerns.
Class Description: Join us for a participatory herbal workshop on taking care of ourselves and each other, when our work is care. For all those who give care, paid and unpaid. Welcome parents, guardians, service and health care providers, mental health practitioners, domestic workers, organizers, educators, and all those who do the seen, unseen, and potent work of supporting the survival of others. We’ll explore herbal allies, nourishment practices for inward listening, simple embodiment practices, and rituals for sustaining our energy for the long haul. Let’s spend 1.5 hours together, nourishing ourselves and receiving as much as we give. Because in these times we need you; we need your care; we need you to be cared for.
Cost: sliding scale $20-60
