APPLICATION FOR CHARITY PARTNERS PROGRAM
Bike New York is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate and promote cycling in all five boroughs of New York City through education and public events. Bike New York organizes the TD Five Boro Bike Tour, the largest cycling event in the United States. On Sunday, May 2, 2027, 30,000 participants will once again ride on a 40-mile course throughout New York City’s five boroughs―car-free! https://www.bike.nyc.
Bike New York is seeking to partner with a diverse group of charitable organizations (“Charity Partners”) for the purpose of generating funds for these public charities participating in the 2027 TD Five Boro Bike Tour. As the event didn’t sell out in 2026, the purpose of this program is to provide an option for your donor base to support you financially and foster community by riding together.
Charity Partner Application:
Prospective Charity Partners must complete the application below and provide a copy of their 501(c)(3) IRS status letter.
Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
Fundraising by Riders:
A limited number of Guaranteed Entries will be available through Charity Partners for individuals who agree to a minimum fundraising commitment of $500. All fundraising activities will be handled directly between Charity Partners and the riders, using whatever fundraising platform the charity has in place. Bike New York will require accurate financial reports with respect to fundraising activities from the 2027 TD Five Boro Bike Tour.
Pricing:
Each guaranteed entry has a cost of $275, paid upfront by the charity to Bike New York. Each entry includes a Start Wave One pass, a light breakfast at the start and lunch at the post-ride festival. There are no additional registration fees. All entries will be non-refundable, non-deferrable, and non-transferable.
