  • SEMIFINALS
    There are two locations for the semifinal round. If invited to the semifinals, you must only attend one of the two.

    Saturday, January 16, 2027 — Location TBA, Pasadena, CA

    Semifinal location placement will be determined by the competition based on your preference. If you need to change your semifinal location placement/preference, please contact the competition, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that travel, transportation, and accommodation arrangements will NOT be provided for the semifinal round.

    March 6, 2027 — California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Pasadena, CA

    All semi-finalists must be available for the Final round from the evening of March 5 until the morning of March 7, 2027. No travel will be allowed on March 6 and contestants will be expected to attend the evening party after the final round.

    Accommodation and transportation in Pasadena will be provided for out-of-town artists who compete in the final round. Travel reimbursements up to $400 will be provided to out-or town artists; receipts will be required.

  • Competition Repertoire

    Please submit four selections in each of the following categories. Applicants applying for Category #7 (Courtney B. Vance Chevalier Award) may also submit a fifth selection, but this last field is not required.

  • Video Performance Submissions

    Please provide links to two different aria performances. Applicants submitting for Category #7 (Courtney B. Vance Chevalier Award) must provide a third video featuring the required repertoire. Please ensure each video link is accessible and viewable before submitting your application. Accepted platforms: YouTube, Vimeo

    There is a non-refundable application fee of $50.00. Please follow the link below to submit your application fee. Payment must be received by November 13, 2026 or your application will be disqualified.
