    2027 VCFA Membership Application

  • Please read these important notes before completing membership application. All dates outlined are subject to confirmation. 

    • The VCFA (Victorian Churches Football Association) is an independant soccer association not part of FV (Football Victoria)
    • 2027 VCFA structure and fixtures have not yet been published and will be provided once released
    • Season commences 10 April 2027 and ends on 4 September 2027 (dates TBC)
    • Firsts & Reserves season is 18 home and away games plus a knockout cup competition. Games are played on Saturdays at 1pm & 3pm
    • Masters season is home and away games only (number of rounds TBA) There is currently no cup competition for the Masters. Games are played on Fridays at 7.30pm mostly at hubs with limited games at Anderson Park
    • Membership application does not guarantee acceptance and is dependent on attendance to pre-season training sessions and practice games to enable coaching staff to assess player aptitude
    • Registration will not be finalised until your fees are been paid in full. This includes provision of links to register with VCFA & Dribl App (both mandatory to play) and season playing strip
    • In the event you are not selected after pre-season, any payment you have made will be refunded, less any fees incurred

    Playing strip comprising shirt, shorts and socks will only be issued on full payment of membership fees. Strips will be presented at the jersey presentation evening on Tue 26 April 2027 (Date TBC). Note: The shirt and shorts MUST be returned at the end of the season.

  • Training

    Training is on Tuesdays at 7.30pm sharp (day TBC). Although training is not compulsory, selection priority will be given to players who attend training. Please arrive earlier to be on the pitch by 7.30. If you are running late or unable to make training, be courteous and advise the group via the individual team WhatsApp chat.

  • Game Availability Replies

    Every week, an availability poll will be posted in the team WhatsApp chat. The onus is on you to reply so as to allow coaches to plan and select the team for the week. If you don't reply or reply late, you may be overlooked for selection. While the coaching team will endeavour to select an appropriate team each week and allow fair game time for all players, on some weeks there may be more availabilities than permitted players (max. 16 players on team sheet with unlimited subs). On such occasions, players who attend training and full-time players may be prioritised.

  • DRSC Membership Conditions

    By applying for membership to Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club, you unconditionally agree to abide by the club's Constitution and Policies listed here here.

    Players also acknowledge/agree that:

    • Soccer, including training is a contact sport and accordingly hold the Club harmless against all claims of whatsoever nature arising out of any injury, loss or damage suffered as a result of any player participating in any authorised Club soccer training or game.
    • Although players coaches and officials are covered by the VCFA Personal Accident Insurance whilst playing or training, the Club will not be liable for any cost not covered by the VCFA insurance that shall be for the account of the players.
    • The Club strongly recommends that you be covered by your own health insurance.
    • Allocation of players to teams will be at the discretion of the Leadership and Coaching Group.
    • They will cooperate and facilitate with the Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club VCFA Teams Leadership Group by assisting during training, practice games and match days in accordance with the roster system devised by Team Managers. All members shall be assigned specific tasks by their respective Team Managers based upon a rotating schedule.
    • They will support the DRSC Committee of Management in maintaining and sustaining the facilities provided by the Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club.
    • They will pay any fines that may imposed by the club or the VCFA for player misconduct on and off the field of play.
    • They will communicate openly with the VCFA Teams Leadership Group and staff of the Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club should any problems arise and to assist in their resolution.
    • They will pay season fees when due.

      NOTE: No player will be permitted to take the field until membership payments have been paid in full. No exceptions.
