Creative Reset is an intimate abstract figurative painting workshop designed to encourage intuition, expressive color, and a less perfection-driven approach to painting. I’ll guide you through an alla prima approach (creating a painting from start to finish in a single session) so you’ll leave with a completed painting of your own. We’ll also explore the meaning of art in our lives and move through a few exercises designed to help quiet the analytical mind and encourage creative flow. Paints, brushes, and shared materials will be provided. Participants will receive additional information about what to bring before the workshop. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Creative Reset workshops are held at a private residence in the Mt. Helix / San Diego area. The exact address, parking information, and additional workshop details will be provided privately to confirmed participants.

Payment in full of $250 is required to reserve your seat. Workshop registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend and provide at least 72 hours’ notice, your registration may be transferred one time to another available Creative Reset workshop taking place within 6 months of your original workshop date. Transferred registrations are subject to availability and may not be transferred a second time. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice and no-shows are not eligible for transfer. If Creative Reset must cancel or reschedule a workshop, you may choose to transfer your registration to another available date or receive a full refund of the amount paid.

I understand that Creative Reset is a hands-on art workshop conducted at a private residence and that participation may involve ordinary risks associated with art-making and being on residential property. These may include, without limitation, the use of paints, art materials and tools; spills or wet surfaces; staining or damage to clothing or personal property; sensitivity or allergic reactions to art materials; and ordinary residential conditions such as steps, uneven surfaces, furniture and indoor or outdoor walking areas.I voluntarily choose to participate in Creative Reset and understand and assume the ordinary and reasonably foreseeable risks associated with my participation in the workshop and my presence on the premises.To the fullest extent permitted by California law, I release and hold harmless Wendy Santaella, Creative Reset, and the owners and occupants of the premises from claims for personal injury, property damage or loss arising from ordinary negligence associated with my participation in the workshop or presence on the premises.This release is not intended to waive any rights or claims that cannot lawfully be waived, including claims arising from gross negligence, reckless or willful misconduct, fraud, or other conduct for which liability may not legally be released.I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings and agree to follow reasonable safety instructions while participating in the workshop.If emergency medical attention is reasonably believed to be necessary, I authorize the workshop host to contact emergency medical services on my behalf. I understand that I remain responsible for any medical expenses incurred on my behalf.
