    The OUBCM is committed to empowering and equipping student leaders to thrive spiritually & have their own personal ministry.

  • Commitments, Expectations, & Privileges

  • Calendar Commitments:

    • Leadership Training: Wednesdays from 6:15pm-7:45pm (up to Thanksgiving)
    • Renown: Wednesdays from 8:30pm - 9:45pm
    • Fall Retreat: October 2nd & 3rd

    Growth Commitments:

    • Commit to a discipleship relationship with either a BCM upperclassmen or staff and go through the Green Book (5 week study)
    • Memorize a verse per week over the semester
    • Serve at Renown or your dorm's Freshman Challenge
    • Read, listen, or watch the assigned homework each week

    Relational Expectations:

    • Put the goals and interests of others above my own. (Phil. 2:3-4)
    • Live an open and honest life before others. (Eph. 4:25)
    • Give and receive scriptural correction within scriptural limits. (Heb. 10:24-25, 3:13)
    • Clear up and maintain clear relationships. (Matt. 5:23-24)
    • Do my part & give generously of my time and energy to see the ministry of the Gospel advance. (1 Peter 4:10)
    • Follow leadership within scriptural limits. (Heb. 13:17)
