  • Event Hours
    Kids' Night Out hours are 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM. This is not a sleepover event.
    Please review our Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures for arrival and dismissal details.

    Participant Safety Policies
    The safety of our participants, staff, and animals is our highest priority.

    • Participants should stay home if they are experiencing symptoms of illness, including coughing, fever, stomach issues, or a runny nose.
    • All participants must have a completed digital waiver and registration form prior to the start of the event.
    • No unauthorized/unlisted persons will be allowed to pick up children.

    Dress Code
    Kids' Night Out is an outdoor, hands-on experience, so kids should dress for comfort and activity. 

    • Wear weather-appropriate clothing.
    • Closed-toe shoes are recommended to protect feet during outdoor exploration.
    • Shorts and lightweight clothing are recommended.
    • Participants should bring or wear a swimsuit and towel, as they will get wet during the foam party. A changing area is available.
    • Clothing may get dirty or wet during activities.

    What to Bring
    Please send participants with the following items:

    • Swimwear and a towel.
    • An extra change of clothes (recommended for foam and water play or messy art activities).
    • Water bottle (optional).

    Dinner
    Please notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions during registration.

    Behavioral Policy
    To ensure a safe and positive environment for participants, staff, guests, and animals, all children are expected to follow these guidelines. Please review these expectations with your child(ren):

    • Participants must follow all instructions given by event educators and staff.
    • Participants must stay with their assigned group at all times.
    • Bullying, hitting, biting, spitting, or aggressive behavior is not permitted.
    • Participants must use respectful and appropriate language.
    • Participants should respect the belongings of others and shared materials.
    • Participants must treat all animals with care and respect.
    • Wilde Critter Club reserves the right to remove a participant from the event if behavior repeatedly disrupts the safety or experience of others.

    Possible consequences may include:

    • Staff discussion with the participants and parent/guardian.
    • Temporary removal from an activity.
    • Parent/guardian notification and early pick-up.

    Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures
    For safety and efficiency, please follow these procedures:

    • Drop-off is from 6:15 PM - 6:30 PM.
    • Pick-up is at 9:30 PM. All campers should be picked up no later than 9:45 PM.
    • Camp staff will assist campers safely to and from vehicles.
    • Additional details and exact address will be provided one week prior to the start of the event.

    Weather Policy
    Kids' Night Out is an outdoor-focused event, and most activities take place outside.

    • The event will continue during light rain, so participants should come prepared with appropriate clothing.
    • In the event of severe weather (lightning, heavy storms, or unsafe heat conditions), activities may be moved indoors or modified for safety.
    • If weather conditions are unsafe to operate, families will be notified by email or phone with any schedule updates.

    Animal Interaction Safety
    A core part of Wilde Critter Club events is learning how to safely and respectfully interact with animals.

    To protect both participants and animals, the following rules apply:

    • Participants must follow all instructions from event educators when interacting with animals.
    • Animals may only be touched when a staff member says it is safe to do so.
    • Participants must use gentle hands and calm voices around animals.
    • Running, shouting, or rough behavior near animals is not allowed.
    • Participants may not feed animals unless directed by staff.
    • Our goal is to help children develop respect, empathy, and responsible behavior toward wildlife and animals.

    General Reservation Policy

    • Early Bird Cost is $35 for one participant; $30 for each additional participant (must be siblings) for registration through 8/31/26.
    • Regular Cost is $40 for one participant; $35 for each additional participant (must be siblings) for registration beginning on 9/1/26.
    • Reservations are required before the event date.
    • Payment is due at the time of registration to secure your spot. 
    • You will be emailed an invoice and detailed payment instructions after your registration form is submitted.
    • Walk-ups are not permitted.
    • Refunds will not be issued for no-shows.

    Refund Policy

    Because event spots are limited and staff and materials are scheduled in advance, we cannot offer refunds for late cancellations (less than 3 days prior to event) or for no-shows.

    If a cancellation is requested at least 3 days before the camp start date, families may receive either:

    • a credit for a future event or camp session within one year, or
    • a full refund.

    Cancellations made within 3 days of the camp start date are not eligible for refunds.

    Wilde Critter Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to low enrollment. In this case, families will receive a full refund or credit.

    Photography & Media Release
    Wilde Critter Club may take photos or short videos during event activities for educational or promotional purposes.

    These images may be used on:

    • The Wilde Critter Club website
    • Social media pages
    • Camp promotional materials
    • No identifying personal information about participants will be shared.
    • If you do not wish for your child to appear in photos or videos, please notify us in writing before the start of the event.

  • Assumption of Risk
    I understand that participation in Wilde Critter Club Kids' Night Out involves outdoor activities and interaction with animals. These activities may include walking on uneven terrain, water play, foam spray activities, outdoor games, and supervised animal encounters.

    I acknowledge that these activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

    • Minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes, or bruises
    • Insect bites or stings
    • Allergic reactions
    • Slips, falls, or contact with natural elements
    • Scratches or bites from animals during supervised interactions

    By signing this waiver, I acknowledge I am the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) listed in the registration form and voluntarily allow my child(ren) to participate in Wild Critter Club event activities and accept these risks on behalf of my child(ren).

    Release of Liability
    I hereby release and hold harmless Wilde Critter Club, its staff, volunteers, instructors, and property owners from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in event activities, except in cases of gross negligence.

    Animal Interaction Acknowledgment
    I understand that my child(ren) may participate in supervised interactions with animals. I agree that my child(ren) will follow all instructions from Wilde Critter Club staff and will treat animals respectfully.

    I understand that interaction with animals involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, bites, scratches, kicks, and allergic reactions, and that such injuries may occur even when safety rules are followed and animals are handled under staff supervision.

    Medical Authorization
    In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Wilde Critter Club staff to seek emergency medical treatment for my child(ren) if I cannot be reached immediately. All known medical conditions and allergies have been disclosed in the registration form or in writing via email.

    Medication Policy
    Participants may not bring medication to camp unless medically necessary (such as an EpiPen or inhaler). Any necessary medication must be clearly labeled and noted with camp staff.

    Indemnification Agreement
    I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wilde Critter Club, its staff, volunteers, instructors, and property owners from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses arising from my child(ren)'s participation in camp activities, including claims brought by or on behalf of my child(ren), except in cases of gross negligence.
