  • Role for each volunteer position is described below. 

    Thursday

    1. Pre-event set up
      • Place stakes and rope to delineate each team's spot

    Friday

    1.  Registration table
      • 8 AM - 2 PM: Check in attendees, check in teams, and walk teams to their spot. 
      • 2 PM - 6 PM: Check in attendees, check in teams until 2:30 PM.
    2. Registration Confirmation: Collect stake poles and do wristband reminders to each team
    3. Venue Set-Up: Direct event vendors, place tableware and decorations for indoor dining hall, assemble kids' goody bags
    4. Food Competition Support: Walk around outdoor team areas to inform teams to submit, provide competition food containers, and collect food entry to judging
    5. Dinner operations: corral teams for food stations, manage food lines, check wristbands for proper registration, check each team's side dishes.
    6. Buffet managers: Inform attendees of the buffet start time and check for wristbands (kids at 6:15 PM/all attendees at 6:30 PM), help keep 2 food lines organized
    7. Parking attendant: Lead attendees/teams to park on lot that optimizes parking space. 
    8. Trash Checker: Replace trash bags in designated trash cans to minimize overflow. 
    9. After Event Clean-Up: Clean the venue by sweeping, mopping, packing up, and taking down all event-specific decor.
