2027 Heritage Crafts Calendar Photography Competition

  • Thank you for submitting your images for the Heritage Crafts 2027 Calendar.

We are looking for striking, high-quality photographs that celebrate traditional craft skills across the UK. Twelve selected featured makers will be showcased in our printed 2027 calendar, receiving month-long publicity across our network and national channels, along with copies of the calendar at cost price.

Deadline for entries: Monday 21 September 2026 at midnight

  • Please read before uploading your images

To ensure your photographs are suitable for full-page A4 printing in the calendar, please follow these guidelines:

    • Orientation: Landscape orientation is required for the main calendar pages. Portrait images will only be suitable for smaller thumbnail features.

    • File size: Upload original, full-resolution files directly from your camera or smartphone (ideally between 3MB and 15MB each).

    • Do not use compressed files: Please do not submit images downloaded from Facebook, Instagram, website previews or sent via WhatsApp, as these platforms compress images and remove the quality required for printing.

    • Lighting and focus: Ensure your subject is sharply in focus with good lighting. Natural day-lit workshop shots often work best!

Please submit no fewer than three and up to six images in total. Your submission must include at least one photo showing you carrying out a craft process, as well as high-quality images of your finished or in-progress work.
