VOLUNTEER RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM

I understand that volunteering to work at Light the Way 5K is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not volunteer in Light the Way 5k unless I am physically able and in good physical condition. I assume all risks associated with volunteering in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, lifting heavy objects, the effect of weather, lighting or the lack of lighting, conditions of the walkway surfaces, roadway traffic and all such risks being known and appreciated by me.

Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Keep Sevier Beautiful, Share It Forward, The Dollywood Company, the Board of Directors, the County of Sevier, the cities of Gatlinburg, Sevierville and Pigeon Forge and all agents, employees, elected officials and members therefore, jointly and separately, and all further sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the event, even though the liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.

I also grant permission to all the foregoing to use any photography, motion pictures or recordings or any other record of this event for legitimate purposes.
