  • 2026 Fall HSD2 Hoopster League Tryouts Registration Form

    Hoopster League Overview: Now entering its 5th season, the Fall Hoopster Basketball League brings Harrison School District Two (HSD2) and Hillside Connection together to provide a quality, competitive co-ed basketball experience for 4th and 5th grader (boys and girls) at participating schools in Southeast Colorado Springs.

    This isn’t a travel program or a moneymaker. It’s about BUILDING COMMUNITY, SCHOOL PRIDE, and a stronger student-athlete pipeline across the district. Every child deserves access to quality sports and enrichment opportunities.

    League incentives include: regular season games, championship turnament bracket, certified officials, shoes, guest speakers and more. 

    Here is a snap shot of the timeline: 
    Tryout Window: September 14th - 25th 
    Practices: Early October - November 
    Gameday Saturdays: October 24th, October 31st, November 7th, November 14th 

    Next Steps:

    Step #1 (Mandatory School Tryouts - ALL MUST COMPLETE THIS FORM): Each elementary school in HSD2 will host tryouts on dates to be designated by each school. Please monitor your email for further information to come on tryout dates. 

    Step #2 (TEAM ROSTERS): Each school coach will select 12 players to represent their perspective school in the Fall 2026 Hoopster Basketball League. If your child does not make the team, please note that there will be sports development and enrichment opportunities available for ALL KIDS throughout league play and the fall/winter months.

    Step #3 (Practice & Game Commitment): For youth who make teams, parents and kids must be committed to fulfilling requirements on the court and in the classroom. School grades, school/practice/game attendance are mandatory.
    Following tryouts, practices will be held two days after school (date will be confirmed by coach) Games will be held on Saturdays beginning in late October.

    League Costs: FREE. Donations are greatly appreciated.

  • As the parent or legal guardian, I thoroughly understand the structure and tryout process of the league:

    (1) Mandatory Tryouts at the end of the month of [month needed] (dates needed)

    (2) School Coach will select the 4th/5th grade COED team to represent the school in hoopster basketball League.

    (3) If my child is selected, I must be able to commit to the practice and games schedule and school grades and attendance.

    (4) If my child is not selected, I understand that there will be additional sports development and enrichment opportunities for my child to remain engaged in extracurricular activities in the fall/winter months.
