Project Play Western New York is excited to welcome all coaches who dedicate their time to support youth sports to this FREE coaches training event, in partnership with the National Parks and Recreation Association.
What to Expect:
This engaging, interactive training will feature the U.S. Soccer Foundation's Coach-Mentor Blueprint Training. This nationally recognized program gives coaches practical, evidence-based strategies for building positive, lasting relationships with youth. Participants will learn how to create inclusive, supportive team environments that foster belonging, confidence, and growth, particularly within under-resourced and underrepresented communities. underrepresented communities.
Upon completion of the training, coaches will receive a certificate of completion and gain access to a free online resource hub filled with tools, tips, and activities to support their continued development.
In addition, the American Heart Association will lead a hands-only CPR training, allowing participants to learn lifesaving skills and practice CPR techniques in a supportive learning environment.
