• Wheels on the Bus Application 2026-2027

  • Wheels on the Bus funding will cover field trip costs for one grade level from a WCPSS Title I elementary school to visit a local arts or cultural destination during the school day. Schools may submit only one application per school year.

    Only Title I WCPSS elementary schools are eligible to apply.

    Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis now through November 1, 2026 or until all available funds are awarded. Award notifications will be sent via email within two weeks of application receipt.

  • FIELD TRIP DETAILS

     

    The following fields should match the information entered into your school's request for bus transportation through the WCPSS intranet, if you are planning to use WCPSS buses. Verification of transportation-related expenses must be submitted after the field trip.

    If your preferred field trip is full by the time your application is received, we will contact your principal to determine your second choice field trip.
