Human Rights Internship Application (2025-2026)

Eligibility: Open to second- and third-year College students and Crown School master's students. Please contact Adam Avrushin, aavrushi@uchicago.edu, with any questions about this Summer Human Rights Internship.

You'll need to provide the names of two references toward the end of this form. Have that information ready before you start. Human Rights majors are exempt from the reference requirement.

Two events are mandatory for accepted interns:
- Internship Orientation — Thursday, November 5, 5:30 p.m. We'll walk you through the self-directed internship search you'll complete over winter break.
- Human Rights Internship Symposium — Friday, January 22, 2027, 9 am to 4 pm. Past interns will share what their summers were actually like.
