  • Where is Jesus inviting you to take your next step?

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey, and everyone has a next step. This assessment is not a measure of your salvation, your worth, or how valuable you are as a disciple of Jesus. It is simply a tool to help you recognize where you are currently growing and identify a practical next step on your journey. Answer honestly based on your life right now—not where you think you should be. The goal is not perfection, but greater clarity about how God may be inviting you to grow.

    Estimated time: 4–6 minutes.

    DISCIPLESHIP JOURNEY DEFINITIONS

  • SEARCH

    A season of Search.

You are exploring who Jesus is and what faith could mean in your life. Questions and uncertainty are not failures; they can become honest steps toward knowing God. Your next step is to keep exploring Jesus in a setting where you can ask real questions and experience Christian community.

  • COMMIT

Ready for a step of Commit.

You are moving from interest or belief toward a clear decision to follow Jesus. Commitment means trusting Jesus as Savior, confessing Him as Lord, expressing that faith through baptism, and belonging to His church. Your next step is the specific commitment milestone you identified as incomplete.

  • LIVE

Growing in the space of Live.

You have chosen to follow Jesus, and He is inviting you to develop a shared life with Him. Growth happens as trust becomes practice through Scripture, prayer, community, generosity, and service. Your answers point to one rhythm that could most strengthen your life with Jesus now.

  • ADVANCE

Being invited to Advance the mission.

Jesus is increasingly at the center of your life, and your next step is multiplication: helping someone else find and follow Him. Advance does not mean you have finished growing. It means your growth now intentionally overflows into the spiritual growth of others.
