PAWS to Play - Acknowledgment Section
By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the following PAWS to Play hosting requirements:
Meeting & Unloading Location:
I can provide an accessible meeting location for the PAWS Atlanta team and volunteers, including a space where dogs can safely be unloaded from a PAWS Atlanta vehicle.
Volunteer Parking:
I can provide parking information and/or parking accommodations for up to six PAWS Atlanta volunteer vehicles.
Parking Costs:
If parking requires payment, I understand that the PAWS to Play host is responsible for covering the cost of parking for PAWS Atlanta staff and volunteers.
PAWS Atlanta Van Parking:
I understand that the PAWS Atlanta van has a vertical clearance of 9½ feet and cannot fit in most parking garages. I will arrange for an accessible parking location for the PAWS Atlanta van for the duration of the session.
Seasonal Location Requirements:
I understand that PAWS to Play sessions may be held indoors or outdoors. For the health and safety of the animals, winter sessions must be held indoors, while summer sessions must take place indoors or in a shaded outdoor space.
Inclement Weather:
If my PAWS to Play session is scheduled outdoors, I will provide or arrange for an identified indoor alternative location in the event of inclement weather.
Host Responsibility:
I understand that it is my responsibility to communicate any parking, access, location, or weather-related limitations to PAWS Atlanta prior to the session.
Dog Selection:
I understand that PAWS Atlanta will select the dogs participating in the PAWS to Play session and will typically select an adoptable dog currently in our care to participate.
A specific breed, size, age, or type of dog cannot be guaranteed.
