This two-day, hands-on course is designed for EMS educators, instructors, simulation personnel, and others involved in scenario-based training who want to create more realistic and effective training environments.

Day 1 – Tuesday, September 29, 2026
Instruction and Hands-On Training
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (lunch included)
Participants will receive classroom and hands-on instruction covering casualty simulation techniques, materials, safety considerations, staging, and methods for creating realistic simulated injuries.

Day 2 – Wednesday, September 30, 2026
Regional MCI Exercise
6:30 AM–approximately 10:00 AM
Participants will apply the skills learned on Day 1 by assisting with casualty simulation for a regional Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) exercise.
Location:
The Day 2 exercise will be held at separate locations. Specific location, parking, and reporting instructions will be provided to registered participants during class.
Travel and Lodging:
Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the Day 2 exercise location. Participants who require overnight lodging are responsible for arranging and paying for their own accommodations.
