  • Tell Us About Your Work

  • Nobody walks in knowing everything. We care a lot more about curiosity, growth, and being willing to learn than pretending you already have all the answers.

  • How comfortable are you working with different hair textures and curl patterns?
  • How You Work

  • We’re a small team, which means how we treat each other matters. We help when we can, communicate when something’s wrong, and try really hard not to make someone else’s day harder.

  • We want clients to feel comfortable being exactly who they are in our chairs. Great hair matters, but so does being listened to, respected, and cared for.

  • You don't have to arrive knowing everything. We expect everyone on our team to keep learning, and we're happy to teach. Curly and textured hair is an important part of what we do, but curiosity and willingness to learn matter more to us than showing up with every skill already mastered.

  • A Little About You

We spend a lot of time together. Skills matter, but so does liking the humans you work beside. There aren't really right answers here. We just want to get to know you a little.
  • We're humans. Someone will eventually make a mistake, have a bad day, misunderstand something, or need help. We care much more about what happens next than pretending those things never happen.

  • Why Here?

  • Here's What You're Signing Up For

  • RPSB is collaborative, a little unconventional, and always evolving. We care about sustainability, education, inclusion, community, doing really good hair, and being good humans while we do it. We take our work seriously without needing to take ourselves seriously all the time.

  • We work independently, but we don't work in a bubble. You may have your own clients and your own schedule, but we're still sharing a space, a reputation, and a client experience. Sometimes being a good teammate means answering a question, grabbing something for someone who's running behind, or simply noticing what needs to be done.

  • Our salon works a little differently. Our team works different schedules and shifts, which lets us make great use of a smaller, thoughtfully designed space. That also means leaving your station ready for the next person and being considerate of the people who work before and after you.

  • Sustainability is baked into how we operate, not just something we put on the website. We think about the products we use, what we throw away, what we can reuse, and the impact our salon has outside our four walls.

  • How does sustainability show up in your work behind the chair?
