A Few Rules From the Pack

Dog Comes First. Costumes must allow dogs to move, see, hear, breathe and behave comfortably. Wild Heart Haven may require removal of any costume or element that appears unsafe or distressing.

Stay Leashed. Dogs must remain leashed and under the control of their handler while participating.

Know Your Hound. Please only bring dogs who can comfortably participate in a public environment with people and other dogs.

Keep It Safe. No pyrotechnics, open flames, dangerous props, weapons or costume elements that could reasonably injure or entangle another guest or dog.

Keep It Event-Appropriate. Wild Heart Haven reserves the right to decline an entry that is unsafe or inappropriate for the event.

Be There to Win. Contestants must check in by the announced contest check-in deadline. We will publish the final check-in and contest times before October 31.
