I’m proud of how far I’ve come as a runner.

At first, I didn’t take running very seriously. Then I watched my friend Brian Sacco competing in races and consistently doing well, and it inspired me to learn more. After speaking to him about the sport, he introduced me to training and different running events.

I started taking part, and somehow running became a habit and a big part of my life. I’m still improving, but I’m proud of the progress I’ve made.

Last year, I placed 3rd in the Bank Windhoek, NBC and NamibRe 21 km races. I also completed my first-ever 42 km Husab Marathon in 3:39:39.

When I look back at where I started, I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come.

My proudest achievement in 2026 was being invited to serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the 9th Pension Funds and Alternative Investments Conference in Mauritius.

As a young professional, this opportunity was both empowering and transformative. It showed me that I can aspire to become a global speaker and represent Namibia on international platforms. More importantly, it allowed me to return home inspired and motivated to encourage others to dream beyond our borders.

We often see Namibia importing talent to headline events, host masterclasses, and lead conversations. But how often can we say that we are exporting our own talent, not merely as guests, but as active contributors and industry leaders?

This experience remains one of my proudest achievements of 2026, as it celebrates that Namibians have the talent, ability, and potential to make a meaningful impact on the global stage.

I am the proud founder of the Erb's Palsy Namibia Foundation.

Every single day, I am motivated to keep pushing forward because I refuse to let another mother walk the lonely, painful path I walked when my son Rosem was diagnosed with Erb's Palsy. I am incredibly proud to be a voice for these children every day, teaching mothers to always speak up and be heard.

We started as a digital village, and a massive proud moment happened this year when I officially signed our registration documents.

Looking at those papers, I felt an overwhelming wave of happiness and pride because I DID THAT! It proved that our mission is real and official, motivating me to work even harder.

    Our impact is growing.

While we have been featured on national media platforms, gaining international recognition on The Good Things Guy—a prominent South African platform—was an unforgettable milestone that brought our cause to the regional stage.

Winning this trip to Dakar would be the ultimate celebration of this journey. It is a well-deserved chance to rest and have fun, but more importantly, it provides a powerful platform to forge new international collaborations. My ultimate goal is to sit at the table with policymakers to transform maternal health and early intervention policies in Namibia.

We are driving change, one step at a time!

For as long as I can remember, one of my dreams was earning a Diploma in Business Management. I believed education would open doors to a better future, but the road to achieving that dream was not easy.

In 2023, I was ready to enroll, full of excitement and hope. Unfortunately, financial difficulties stood in my way, and I could not register. It was heartbreaking to see my dream put on hold. For a moment, I felt discouraged, but deep down, I knew giving up was not an option.

Instead of letting my circumstances define me, I chose to keep believing in myself. I started saving every dollar I could, determined to make my dream a reality. The following year, I rewrote my mature age entry test, and after months of hard work and perseverance, I was accepted. I had also managed to save enough to pay my registration fee and the required 30% tuition deposit.

That acceptance letter was more than just admission into a programme it was proof that persistence pays off.

I threw myself into my studies with everything I had. There were challenges along the way, but I stayed focused on the goal I had carried in my heart for so many years. In 2025, I successfully completed my Diploma in Business Management, and in 2026, I proudly walked across the graduation stage to receive my qualification.

The person who deserves the biggest thank you is my mother. She was my greatest source of strength, encouragement, and motivation. Whenever I felt overwhelmed or uncertain, she reminded me why I started and never stopped believing in me, even when the journey seemed impossible.

Looking back today, I realize that sometimes dreams take longer than we expect, but that does not mean they are out of reach. My journey taught me that determination, patience, and the support of those who love us can turn setbacks into success.

What once seemed impossible became one of the proudest moments of my life. And as I stood at my graduation in 2026, I knew that every sacrifice, every delay, and every challenge had been worth it.

Dreams delayed are not dreams denied. 🎓❤️✨

  • Fluffy's Artistry

Fluffy’s Artistry was officially established in 2018, starting humbly in my bedroom, but the journey began long before that. I’ve had a passion for hair for as long as I can remember. As a young girl, I styled hair for friends, family, and community members, and that love for the craft never left me.

What began with just me soon grew into something greater. A year later, I hired my first employee, Helvi Shipanga, who we proudly recognized for five years of service. From there, our team expanded from three stylists to now 19 staff members across three branches in Windhoek, Walvis Bay, and now We launched Fluffy’s Artistry on wheels.

    The “Gel Bolla” Movement

When I founded Fluffy’s Artistry, I wanted to do something different ,something that set us apart from every other salons. That’s when I decided to make the “gel bolla” our signature. While the style was known, it wasn’t widely celebrated. My vision was to take it mainstream, to perfect it, and to make it iconic. Today, our “gel bollas,” bridal looks, and exceptional service have become our signature and what sets us apart in the industry.

Our proudest achievement has been creating opportunities for women to earn a living and support their families. Beyond that, Fluffy’s Artistry has grown into a sought-after brand, with notable collaborations both nationally and internationally.

Local brands:  Standard Bank PayPulse, MTC, NAMAs, Wedding Expo and many influencers.

International brands & personalities: Sofnfree (South Africa), Seth Ofori Yankson (the Hair Guru (Ghana), Housewives of Durban, Connie Ferguson, Jessica Nkosi, Ayanda Thabethe, Mihlali, Makhadzi and many more.

Our Philosophy: More Than Just Hair

At Fluffy’s Artistry, we don’t just do hair..we create an experience. Every client is treated as our most important client, because they are. Our goal is for everyone who walks through our doors to leave feeling valued, cared for, and beautiful.

We also believe strongly in investing in our team. From training and upskilling to celebrating milestones, our staff is at the heart of everything we do. There is no Fluffy’s Artistry without the artistry of our team.

Some places you visit, but some places live inside you. This picture was taken during my holiday at Kakangala Village, at the family farm a place where the soil carries memories, the fields tell stories, and the meaning of home feels different.

There I was, bending down among the young maize plants, my hands touching the same soil that has sustained generations before me. For a moment, I was not thinking about deadlines, responsibilities, or the busy life I live away from home. I was simply a daughter of the soil.

To some, this may look like an ordinary farm. To me, it is a reminder of where I come from. Every plant represents patience. Every handful of soil represents sacrifice. Every harvest carries the hope that tomorrow can be better than today.

Growing up, I learned that life does not always give you an easy road. But the farm taught me something powerful, you plant before you harvest, you work before you celebrate, and you keep believing even when you cannot yet see the fruit of your labour.

That day, I wasn't just checking the crops.I was reconnecting with my roots. And as I stood there surrounded by green fields, I realised that no matter how far life takes me, there will always be a piece of me that belongs to this soil.

Kakangala is not just where I come from. It is part of who I am.

If you had told me when I joined SanlamAllianz that I’d be confidently helping clients make life😉changing financial decisions, I probably would’ve smiled and said, “Let’s see!” Fast forward to today, and what a journey it has been.

Every day has been a chance to learn, grow, and challenge myself. I’ve celebrated wins, learned from setbacks, and discovered that success doesn’t happen overnight🤗it happens one client, one conversation, and one lesson at a time.

One of my proudest moments was being promoted to work with Affluent clients this year. It reminded me that hard work, consistency, and believing in yourself really do pay off.

What makes this journey even more special is knowing that I’m not just selling policies🫣 I’m helping families protect what matters most, helping people invest in their dreams, and giving clients peace of mind. Seeing a client’s smile after finding the right solution is a feeling that never gets old.

SanlamAllianz didn’t just give me a job; it gave me purpose, confidence, and a platform to become the best version of myself. It has also earned me greater respect in my community and at home, as people now see me as someone they can trust for guidance and support.

Knowing that I can make a real difference in people’s lives is my greatest reward. And trust me… this is only the beginning! 💙

I was diagnosed with endometriosis 15 years ago. I am stage 4. Since then, I have undergone multiple surgeries and therapy just to find some kind of comfort. I struggle mostly with pain, nausea, and fatigue.

Living with endometriosis has reshaped my life. Endometriosis has made me a prisoner of my own body. The reason why I do Endo March is to advocate for myself, educate, and be the voice to the voiceless going through the same as I.

Thanks to Run Along Foundation, Ongwediva Medipark, friends, family, and the community of Oshana at large for always being a helping hand whenever I do Endo March.

This year was my 6th Endo March Awareness. Through the awareness, I've embarked on a sanitary pad campaign with the purpose of restoring the dignity of young girls. To date, I have donated sanitary pads to 7 schools.

    This is my proudest moment.

Last but not least, to all people out there suffering from endometriosis know that we are warriors, and together, we are strong.

Not every proud moment happens on a stage. Some happen under office lights long after everyone has gone home.

This photo was taken at 23:30, doing what many never get to see—capturing policies. It wasn’t just about reaching my target. Every policy captured means a financial advisor’s hard work moves one step closer to becoming an active policy, giving them the opportunity to earn the commission they’ve worked for.

As the New Business Consultant for Ondangwa, while also supporting the Oshakati branch, I’ve learned that every late night has a purpose. Behind every captured case is a family being protected, an advisor being rewarded for their dedication, and a promise being fulfilled.

This is one of my proud moments. Not because of the hours I worked, but because I know those hours helped someone else succeed.
