    This is the form for:

    • Carlow Kilkenny Regional Council 
    • 10:00AM - 3:00PM 
    • Seven Oaks Hotel Carlow  
    • Thursday: October 15th 2026

    The Regional Council of schools will bring together students from all over Ireland to discuss both regional and national education issues. Workshops, discussions and elections will take place during the day, electing students as the next Regional Officers. There will be an opportunity for students for students to submit issues important to them for their Regional Officers to work on. There is also a workshop outlining civic engagement.  

    Students should register individually. Teachers do not need to register. Please note this is not limited to Student Council Members.

    PLEASE NOTE: Venue capacity has been flagged for this event, as such there are limited places for student leaders, please ensure that you register early to avoid dissappointment.

    • We will be unable to change voter status on the day unless there is faults. Please ensure you do not register more than 2 voters, otherwise voting will be determined on first-registered basis.

    Please note that unfortunately we cannot accommodate for any more numbers than the above. Therefore any extra students cannot be admitted to the event, unless there is a prior agreement with the Student Council Liaison Teacher, which can be arranged by emailing Luke@issu.ie

  • Please note for those who are over 18, or those shortly turning 18, you will be required to engage with vetting should you be successfully elected. This will require a trip to Dublin as part of your training (for all officers) in January 2027.
