The Faith Holistic Academy Parent Enrichment Committee supports the students, their families, and the FHA administration throughout the year. More specifically their role is to provide extracurricular activities, host appreciation and social functions, organize additional rewards for the students throughout the year, and donate various supplies,equipment, or funds for specific programs or events.
Fundraising efforts may be done on the behalf of Faith Holistic Academy, however, no cash money may be collected by Parent Enrichment Committee members per FL State Statute. All donations should come through our website, the FHA Finance Department or an FHA administration staff member (Mrs. Vega or Mrs. Rodriguez). "In Kind Donations" can be collected if communicated to an FHA Staff member and the item is brought to our staff. Examples of fundraising and events that a member on the Parent Enrichment Committee may fundraise for are as follows:
- School Dances
- Field Trips
- Graduation
- Christmas Party
- Pizza Party
- Staff/Student Incentives
- Building Fund
- In House Scholarship Fund
All fundraising efforts must be approved by FHA Administration and meet our healthy habits standards (similiar to what we have listed in our Parent/Student Handbook with some additional options that are not allowed at school).
All Parents/Guardians appointed to our Parent Enrichment Committed must sign a (Christian) Statement of Faith and undergo a background screening. Once your child is no longer a student at Faith Holistic Academy, the Parent Enrichment Committee appointment is rescinded unless a special exception is made. Additionally, if it is found to have committed a crime, or any activity that unbecoming to Faith Holistic Academy, FHA reserves the right to rescind a committee members appointment.
