Intro to Irish Music Workshop Registration
On October 17, 2026 from 2-6 PM, the Washington Conservatory of Music will host its first ever Intro to Irish Music Workshop led by our incredible Irish Music Faculty. Join us for an intro session and demo at 2 PM, followed by 3:15 PM Tune Teach Breakout Sessions by instrument and proficiency level, and a 4:15 PM Happy Hour next door at the Irish Inn, featuring a performance and chance to join in with the Irish Inn Mates! Featured instruments for this workshop include the bodhran, tinwhistle, flute, fiddle, and voice. Don't have an instrument? No problem! Get ready to sing some Irish tunes with us! This workshop is led by Mitch Fanning (fiddle), Tina Eck (tinwhistle and flute), Jesse Winch (bodhran), and Eileen Estes (voice). Questions? Email info@washingtonconservatory.org.
