EFIN Business Owner Agreement
By submitting this form, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

• I am enrolling with BTX Tax Pro as an EFIN Business Owner and understand that this path is designed for individuals who intend to operate their own independent tax business.

• I understand that I am responsible for establishing and maintaining my own tax business and for complying with all applicable IRS requirements, regulations, and tax-preparation standards.

• I understand that I am responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and properly using my EFIN and for completing any required ERO registration or application processes.

• I understand that BTX Tax Pro provides training, EFIN guidance, ERO training, business setup guidance, compliance training, pricing guidance, and related educational resources as part of the EFIN Business Owner path.

• I understand that I will operate my tax business independently and will keep 100% of my tax preparation fees. There is no revenue-sharing arrangement between BTX Tax Pro and my independent tax business.

• I understand that mentorship is provided during the BTX Tax Pro training program. Ongoing mentorship during tax season is not included in my enrollment. Additional mentorship during tax season may be available separately for $100 per month.

• I understand that I am responsible for my own business operations, including client relationships, pricing, tax preparation, compliance, and business decisions once I begin operating independently.

• I agree to follow all applicable IRS rules, regulations, ethical requirements, and applicable BTX Tax Pro expectations while participating in the training and using any BTX Tax Pro resources.

• I understand that I am responsible for the accuracy of tax returns I prepare and for information submitted to the IRS under my EFIN.

• I agree to provide accurate information and any documentation required for my enrollment and EFIN/ERO process.

• I understand that any tax software, JotForm, technology services, or other tools not specifically included in my enrollment are my responsibility. My own JotForm and any related technical setup are purchased separately.

• I understand that BTX Tax Pro does not become the owner, employer, or operator of my independent tax business.

• I understand that failure to follow applicable tax laws, compliance requirements, or BTX Tax Pro expectations may result in termination of my participation or access to BTX Tax Pro resources.

  ▪ I understand that I am responsible for maintaining my EFIN and fulfilling my responsibilities as an Electronic Return Originator (ERO).
  
  ▪ I agree to follow applicable IRS rules, regulations, ethical requirements, and BTX TaxPro expectations while participating in the BTX TaxPro training and using BTX TaxPro resources.
  
  ▪ I understand that failure to maintain required compliance may result in termination of my access to BTX TaxPro systems, resources, or training.
  
  ▪ I understand that the $1,999 EFIN enrollment fee does not include ongoing tax-season mentorship. Ongoing tax-season mentorship is optional and is not required to participate in the BTX TaxPro program. If I choose to receive additional tax-season mentorship after completing the training program, it will be offered separately at a rate of $100 per month.
