Join NAAM on August 28 from 2:30–3:30 p.m. for a special Freedom Day conversation with newly elected Seattle King County NAACP President Hayward Evans. Connecting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1963 “I Have a Dream” speech to today’s pursuit of civil and voting rights, Evans will share his vision for renewed community engagement across King County, including education, criminal justice, district-based leadership, and voter participation ahead of the midterm elections.
