    • Your Nestlings Drop Off Plan
    • A Note About Mondays

Mondays offer a little extra flexibility as our Nestlings build confidence and independence. If your child needs additional support separating, one parent may remain nearby during our initial transition period. Our teachers will work with you to gradually reduce your presence as your child becomes more comfortable and confident.

      While remaining on site:

      • Siblings and additional adults may not stay under any circumstances. Please make temporary accomodations for any additional children.
      • Parents will remain outside The Nest and will not participate in classroom activities unless they are volunteering on that day. (We simply do not have the space to accommodate)
      • After helping your child settle, we may ask you to move farther away so your nestling has an opportunity to engage independently with teachers and friends.
      • Parents presence is intended as a temporary transition support, rather than an ongoing part of the Monday routine.
      • Our goal is to gradually reduce parent presence as your child becomes more comfortable and confident.
    • On Mondays I plan to*
    • Our goal for independent drop-off is:*
    • If your child is having difficulty separating at drop-off, how would you prefer our teachers support the transition?*
    • Arrival & Drop Off Routines
    • Arrivals:
As stated in our Family Handbook, during drop off, parents should walk their children up to the small gate and say goodbye there.

If you anticipate your child will be needing extra time, we ask that you plan to arrive 20 minutes early. This gives your Nestling time to settle in with a teacher before our regular arrival period begins and allows us to give them a little extra attention without disrupting the start of the day.

Consistency between home and school helps our Nestlings know what to expect and makes separation easier. Please review and acknowledge the following before the first day of class.
