  • Establishment of Stellenbosch BDKW SRA in accordance with Stellenbosch Municipality:Special Rating Area By-law, 2025/2026. The main objectives of this SRA are to improve andupgrade the area in the manner envisaged in the Business Plan.

    This process is conducted on behalf of Stellenbosch Municipality by the applicant. Completed forms are submitted to the Municipality's Chief Financial Officer (or nominee) for verification of the consent/objection threshold.

    Please note: If the majority (60%) of properties vote YES then ALL properties will automatically be included and by law obligated to contribute monthly.

    Personal information collected on this form (including identity number, contact details, and property information) is collected solely for the purpose of establishing and administering the Stellenbosch BDKW SRA, verifying consent thresholds required by law, and municipal record-keeping, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").

    Your information will be processed by the applicant and by Stellenbosch Municipality, and will not be shared with any other third party without your further written consent, save where required by law or for the purposes of the SRA application process prescribed by the Municipality.

    Your information will be retained for as long as the SRA remains in existence and thereafter for such period as required for legal or record-keeping purposes.

    You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
