* 1 Horse per Division, You have one Entry per class

* We will use Rodeo Format for Placing and Rules: Tipped Barrels & Poles 5 second Penalty and no divisions for Placings

* Mistreatment of Animals, Disprespect for Event Staff or other participants, and any Inappropriate Behavior, will be grounds for you being asked to leave immediately

* This Event is Designed for Families and people wanting to have fun there is no pay out

* Dangerous Horses will be asked to leave the arena

* we will not be dragging between horses or events unless saftey becomes an issue

* Class Descriptions can be found on the website and posted at the event.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND
INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
You are releasing important and valuable rights by signing this agreement.
It is CRITICAL that you read and understand the terms of this agreement.
I, as the undersigned “Participant” , in consideration for the right to participate in activites at The Barn at
Thompson Farms do hereby knowingly and voluntarily execute this Agreement made on behalf of myself
and any of my minor children, agents, personal representatives, executors, administrators, dependents,
descendants, heirs, beneficiaries, successors, and assigns under these terms.
Acknowledgement of Risk and Assumption of Responsibility:
The Participant understands and acknowledges that horse riding, grooming, working livestock and
being near horses involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, equipment failure,
unpredictable animal behavior, hazards such as surface and subsurface ground conditions, which may
result in serious injury or death to human or animal. By signing this Agreement, the participant voluntarily
assumes all risks associated with horse riding and related activities and/or being in the presence of
horses and livestock.
Release of Liability:
The Participant releases, discharges, and holds harmless The Barn at Thompson Farms,
Thompson Farms, LLC, it’s owners, family, agents, employees, instructors, volunteers, sponsors and
affiliated parties from all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from their participation in
horse riding, spectating, or activities occuring on the premises. The Participant voluntarily assumes all
risks associated with horse riding and related activities.
Indemnification:
The Participant agrees to indemnify and defend the Released Parties against any and all claims,
including attorney and arbitration fees, resulting from their and their guests attendance or participation.
Personal Property and Damage:
The Participant understands that the Provider is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to
personal belongs. The Participant also agrees to be responsible for any property damage they cause
intentionally or through misuse.
Governing law:
This Waiver shall be governed by the laws of Wyoming – in particular:
Statutes 1-1-121. Recreation Safety Act, through 1-1-123 Assumption of Risk.
Binding Effect:
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties. No verbal statements
or informal agreement shall alter its terms. The Participant acknowledges reading this Agreement fully
and signs it voluntarily, without pressure or coercion. Any controversy or claims arising from this
Agreement will be settled by binding arbitration.
*The Parent or Guardian agrees to all terms herein and accepts full responsibility for the minor’s participation.
