U16 Representative Trials (2026) — Registration

Registration is now open for Cairns Basketball U18 Representative Trials. Eligible athletes born in 2012 & 2013 are invited to register for the U16 Boys and U16 Girls trials.

Trial Schedule (Cairns Basketball)

Girls Trial 1: Fri 11 September 4:00-5:30pm - Court 3 - 5

Boys Trial 1: Fri 11 September 5:30-7:00pm - Court 3 - 5

Girls Trial 2: Sun 13 September 2:30pm-4:00pm - Court 3 - 5

Boys Trial 2: Sun 13 September 4:00pm-5:30pm - Court 3 - 5

Girls Trial 3: Tue 15 September 5:00pm-6:30pm - Court 3 - 5

Boys Trial 3: Mon 14 September 5:00pm-6:30pm - Court 3 – 5

Please arrive 20-30 minutes early for check-in.

What to Bring
Size 6 basketball for girls & Size 7 Basketball for boys
Water bottle
Towel
Reversible singlet (if you have one)

Financial member and currently playing in club basketball

Important

All representative away games, will require travel to be arranged and paid for by the parent / guardians.

If you have previously represented another association, you must provide a Permission to Train form before trialling.

If you are unable to trial or will miss any sessions please make sure you advise in the final comment box on this form.

You acknowledge that attending the trial for representative basketball does not guarantee selection in a team.
You acknowledge that participation in representative basketball will be changing to self-travel & accommodation model to align with Child Safety regulations moving forward.
You acknowledge that the cost to participate in representative basketball is in the vicinity of $2,000 (not including travel & accommodation costs)
You acknowledge and agree that the athlete will attend all training sessions, tournaments and training if fit and well (If selected for a rep team)
You acknowledge and accept that all travel arrangements to away tournaments will be arranged and funded by yourself, this includes but is not limited to - transport, meals and accommodation.
