Bertha Artivism Awards | Application Form 2027 Cohort

The Bertha Artivism Awards are an opportunity for activist artists, arts collectives and organizations to instigate social change. Successful applicants will receive up to USD 20,000 (including up to USD 1,000 for documentation), for projects that politicize, empower and mobilize communities in collaboration with social justice organizations, campaigns or movements; to work towards change.

The Application Process

Please complete the application form below and submit by 23.59 (British Summer Time) on 27 September 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview in early November, with final selections confirmed by 30 November 2026. A public announcement of the selected cohort of Artivists will be made in January 2027.
