Do you light up talking to people? Are you the type who notices when a shelf is crooked before anyone else does? J.R. Cabinet Concepts is looking for a high-energy, detail-obsessed Showroom Manager & Design Consultant to be the face of our showroom — and to help us grow it.

This isn't a sit-behind-the-counter job. It's a dynamic mix of inbound sales (helping every customer who walks in, calls, or messages us) and outbound sales (getting out there and building relationships with contractors, builders, and designers), plus hands-on ownership of the showroom itself — samples, vendors, shipping, the whole operation.

• Open the showroom each day and get ahead of it — check online form submissions, portal orders, voicemails, and emails, and keep our Asana pipeline organized and current.
• Greet and consult with customers on cabinetry, flooring, countertops, hardware, and plumbing fixtures — turning conversations into accurate quotes and design plans.
• Proactively reach out to contractors, builders, and designers to generate new business — this is a real, ongoing part of the role, not a side task.
• Keep the showroom organized and presentable, manage the sample library, and work directly with vendors.
• Arrange shipping and delivery on orders and coordinate communication with outside designers.
• Track every lead, quote, and order in Asana so nothing falls through the cracks.

• High energy and genuinely comfortable with outbound outreach — you don't wait for the phone to ring.
• Sharp, organized, and detail-oriented — you can juggle a walk-in customer, a vendor call, and a follow-up email without dropping any of them.
• A “smile first” attitude with customers, vendors, and contractors alike.
• Reliable and punctual, able to work our posted schedule.
• No industry experience required — we care more about attitude and trainability than a specific resume. Prior design, retail, or construction experience is a plus, not a must.

• This role can be part-time or full-time — we'll figure out which fits best based on your experience and availability.
• Starting pay depends on your skill level and experience — not automatically entry-level. Hourly rates range from $15–$17/hr for someone new to the industry up to $25–$28/hr for an experienced designer, with a clear path to grow from wherever you start.
• Commission on top of your hourly rate: 2% on every sale you complete, from lead to close.
• A real promotion path: JR Showroom Manager → Senior Showroom Manager → Junior Designer → Senior Designer.
