NEXT: Botanica 40th Anniversary Exhibition
In 2027, Botanica, The Wichita Gardens celebrates its 40th anniversary with Then. Now. Next. — honoring the people and ideas that built the Gardens, celebrating Botanica today, and looking forward to its next 40 years. As part of this milestone year, Botanica will present NEXT, a major outdoor exhibition commissioning approximately 10 artists with connections to Kansas to create original works specifically for locations throughout the Gardens. Up to 10 artists across 10 locations throughout Botanica. NEXT will transform Botanica into a garden-wide gallery with contemporary art and invites artists to explore the relationship between art, nature, place, and people.
