This form should be submitted by the president of the RSO requesting to participate in an external competition. The RSO participation packet is here available: https://www.untdcoladvocates.org/externalcompetitions

An approved copy of this form, evidenced by Professor Van Stean's signature,
must be submitted to Dean Ware alongside the RSO fund release request
before RSO request funds for advocacy competitions. No RSO may compete in
any competition without prior approval.

Completed coach volunteer documents must be attached to this application. These documents are attached to the RSO participation packet, available on the BOA Website: https://www.untdcoladvocates.org/externalcompetitions.

RSO Acknowledgement
The RSO requesting approval to participate in a competition related to such RSO understands and agrees that it must book and pay all related competition expenses, to include registration fees, competitor airfare, and competitor hotel rooms. Student competitors understand and acknowledge that RSOs may not directly reimburse competitors for meals or other out of pocket expenses. Student competitors understand the time and effort required to participate in an external competition. The RSO, the student competitors, and the coach have read, understand, and agree to abide by the RSO Competition Participation Packet.
The RSO has located a coach, as named in this form, and said coach agrees to volunteer pursuant to the UNT Dallas College of Law volunteer coach policy. The RSO has explained to the coach that RSOs may not pay coaches and that volunteer coaches will not be entitled to reimbursement for travel from UNT Dallas College of Law.
