  • 2026-2028 SPEAR Foundation Leadership Application: Volunteer Grant Writer

  • Introduction
    The Sigma Public Education and Research (SPEAR) Foundation seeks an experienced and passionate Grant Writer to support the Foundation's grant research, proposal development, and funding strategy as SPEAR works to diversify revenue and expand measurable community impact.


    This is a volunteer professional service position reporting directly to the Foundation's Project Management & Fundraising Lead and collaborating with Foundation leadership, the Financial Team, Research & Impact, and applicable program leaders.


    Applicants should have a minimum of five years of demonstrated grant-writing or grant-development experience and a record of successfully supporting or securing external funding.


    Estimated Time Commitment: Approximately 2-5 hours per week, with additional availability potentially needed during active grant cycles and submission deadlines.
