• CLYC 2026 JUNIOR REGATTA REGISTRATION

    Saturday 29th August 2026
  • This will take the format of racing for those who are working on or have completed their stage 3 and above (Can Launch and recover by themselves and sail a triangle). And then fun on the water for everyone who has taken part in a sailing course. We will then have a BBQ and prize giving, followed by a movie and campout for the juniors.

As you can imagine there is a lot to be done to organise an event like this and to help it run smoothly on the day. We will need some help and parents volunteering to help us make this a great day for the kids. Some of the jobs are:

    • Race officers - Club Members
    • People to do registration - parents / club members
    • Safety cover - club members
    • Beach masters: helping the kids get out on the water and off the water, taking the trailers etc. - parents / club members
    • Kitchen helpers/BBQ - parents / club members
    • People to bring side salads - parents / club members

Those who are racing should be down for registration at 11.30/12.00

Racing will be from around 1.30pm to 3.00pm. There will be a briefing at 1.00pm for which everyone should be changed and rigged before.

Those who have their stage 1 and 2 are asked to register at 2.00pm / 2.30pm with the hope that we will join the racers at 3.00pm for banana boat, paddle boards, kayaking and sailing.
