BIF STALLION ENROLLMENT RULES
1. Enrollment fees are $525 (plus a 5% card processing fee) or donate a breeding to the enrolled stallion annually. Please refer to the BIF Auction Rules. All proceeds brought in by the auction will be treated as enrollment fees. If the donated breeding does not sell, or is sold for less than $525, the stallion owner is responsible to pay, or make up the difference of the sold price, to equal $525.
2. If the stallion is dropped from the program for any reason, the stallion can re-enroll at the going rate with a $200 re-enrollment fee.
3. If the stallion is dropped from the fund, progeny conceived in that breeding year and subsequent years will not be eligible.
4. Enrollers of stallions shall
a. Completely fill out an application
b. Provide a copy of the stallion papers
c. Provide photos for website and advertising purposes
d. Pay the fee or donate a breeding
5. Enrollment Deadlines
a. Pay $525 by December 31st (payments may be made at any time if the fees are paid in full by the 31st). Paid in stallions may enroll after December 31st with a $50 late fee per month.
b. Donate a breeding to the enrolled stallion by the deadline. Pay any monies owed per rule 1 by deadline based on date of auction or a $50 late fee per month will apply.
c. If payment is late, the enroller of stallion will not be able to enter any BRN4D prime or co-sanction races until paid in full.
6. BIF will NOT limit stallions allowed into the program.
7. If making payments, failure to meet nomination and payment deadlines before the BIF Finals will result in forfeiture of nomination fees and stallion will be dropped from the fund for that year.
8. Stallions can be nominated by anyone, whether the stallion is actively breeding, deceased or pensioned, with the stallion owner’s permission. All stallion prize money will be paid to the last recorded of enroller per BIF records.
9. A stallion may ALSO enroll as Progeny Enrollment (progeny rules apply) regardless of sire.
10. Advertising to include, but not limited to:
- Name on website
- Photos used as marketing throughout the website
-Names tagged on social media
-An exclusive social media platform for the stallion owner to post information on the stallion and progeny
- Banner (provided by the stallion owner) hung up in the arena at BRN4D/BIF Finals and all BRN4D produced races. If the stallion owner needs help with design and having a banner produced, we can do so for $125.
